Dentist with a specialist interest in Endodontics (Queen Mary University of London)
Nassar has been undertaking clinically demanding and complex root canal treatments (endodontics) for many years treating patients who have been referred to him by their own general dental practitioner.
Although he still practices general dentistry, an ever-increasing amount of his clinical time is being spent offering his expertise to patients who have the desire to conserve their own dentition rather than have a tooth extracted.
Having originally qualified as a pharmacist with a first-class honours degree from Aston University in Birmingham he was accepted on the graduate entry programme at Barts and The London, Queen Mary's school of Medicine and Dentistry.
As a dental undergraduate at Barts, he developed a particular interest in endodontics, and he was awarded the prestigious Pitt-Ford prize in endodontology.
This prize is awarded to the most outstanding student in the field of endodontics nationwide and he was subsequently invited to submit his case study to the British Endodontic Society scientific conference .
He obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree with Honours in 2012 and he later successfully completed his post graduate examinations to become a member of The Royal College of Surgeons England and The Faculty of Dental Surgery, Glasgow.
Nassar continued to pursue his interest in endodontics; when on to complete his Master of Science (MSc) degree in endodontics and he remains an active member of The British Endodontics Society. All of Nassar's treatments are carried out using state of the art operating microscope's, CBCT scans and the most up to date endodontics’s equipment and materials.
